Employee Engagement Survey

The UPCE continues to advocate for a return of the Canada Post Employee Engagement Survey. The Public Service currently uses the Public Service Employee Survey (PSES) which allows the government to identify what it is doing well and where it needs to improve. 

We believe that Canada Post does not collect enough data, especially data that is qualitative in nature, regarding its workplaces, culture, and practices. For example, a well-designed survey would help identify barriers or issues our members, especially our members who are part of equity seeking groups, face in the workplace. Having a clear understanding of those issues would allow Canada Post to mirror workplaces that are working well and improve where needed based on actual information from our members and workplaces.
